We need to creata A record filling Name field with "mail" and in Target filed we need to insert mailserver IP  .
Now we need to create MX record Ora creiamo un MX record leaving the Name field blank and setting "mail.geekcorner.it" value in Target filed (replace geekcorner.it with your own domain)

Case 2) Use an external mailserver (ex. google mail)

In this case, remove, if present, A record "mail" and each MX record with the field present. Re-create the MX record, leaving the Name field empty and in the Target field indicate the host provided by your supplier.
